The Lindenwood football team has announced that 17 high school seniors have signed National Letters of Intent to play for the Lions next season. The program also announced that five players have transferred to Lindenwood. Among the high school signees, the majority came on the defensive side of the ball with four defensive backs, three linebackers, and three defensive linemen. The team signed six offensive players with two quarterbacks and four offensive linemen. The Lions also signed one kicker. Over half of the team’s signees are from Missouri, and two others are from Illinois. Lindenwood also signed two players from Florida, and one each from Indiana, Oregon, Texas, and Wisconsin. The five transfers include two NCAA Division I transfers, two junior college transfers, and one NCAA Division II transfer.
Ben Jackson, Defensive Back (6-0, 190, Warrenville, Ill., Wheaton-Warrenville HS)
Ben Jackson was an All-DuPage Valley Conference selection. He led his team in interceptions and was named the Most Improved Player on the team.
